1883-CC Ten Dollar, AU55
Better Carson City Issue

1883-CC $10 AU55 NGC. Winter 1-A. A very scarce Carson City issue unknown in grades above MS61. Despite a mintage of just 12,000 pieces, four die marriages exist for the 1883-CC eagle. Winter 1-A has a wide mintmark, with the first C high. The present well-struck Choice AU apricot-gold representative is refreshingly unabraded and displays substantial luster. Census: 49 in 55, 32 finer (3/25).(Registry values: N2998)
