Description

1883-CC Eagle, VF25
Seldom Seen at This Grade Level

1883-CC $10 VF25 PCGS. Winter 2-C. A gathering of die lumps between star 13 and the rim help identify the die pair, one of two that struck a total of 12,000 1883-CC eagles. This VF25 example is attractive for its grade level, showing moderate wear at Liberty's neck curls, but the motifs are otherwise well-preserved and sharp for the grade. Pleasing antique-gold surfaces feature deep-orange accents around the raised outer elements.(Registry values: N991)
