Description

PCGS 1883-CC AU 50. An important condition rarity among Carson City tens, it is very seldom that AU specimens of this issue are offered. The surfaces have a rich orange-gold color and the reverse fields show a bright glimmer of semi-reflectivity that really brings that side to life. On the obverse there are a couple of larger marks that could be used as identifiers for pedigree purposes: one is a curved scrape in the left obverse field out from the nose of Liberty, another is a field mark between stars 12 and 13. Trends $2,850.
