1883-O Eagle, XF Details
Rarest New Orleans Ten

1883-O $10 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NCS. XF Details. Variety 1. From a low reported mintage of just 800 pieces, the 1883-O is the rarest ten dollar gold coin from the New Orleans Mint. This well-detailed orange-gold example shows a few unobtrusive signs of contact and the subdued mint luster that indicates a prior cleaning.
