Description

1883-S $10 Misplaced Date, FS-301, MS62 PCGS. The 1883-S is a much better date due to a mintage of only 38,000 pieces. Likely, a single obverse die was needed to fulfill the production, and all examples may exhibit the misplaced date digit in the dentils between the ball of the 3. This lustrous Liberty ten has sea-green borders and orange-gold centers. Minor marks are prevalent, as expected of the grade. Population: 22 in 62, 7 finer (4/18).
