Description
1883-S Eagle, MS62
Low Mintage of Only 38,000 Pieces
1883-S $10 MS62 PCGS. Gorgeous deep reddish-orange color and
flaming luster are hallmarks of this splendid coin, one of the
nicest survivors from the low mintage of 38,000 pieces; in fact,
all of the branch mint 1883 eagles are low-mintage productions, the
1883-O far more so at 800 coins. A few scattered marks account for
the grade, but the strike is razor-sharp. A super candidate for
type purposes. From The Flagg Family Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
