Description

1887 $10 MS62 PCGS. The ten dollar denomination was struck by the millions at Philadelphia during the early 1880s, but by 1887 the business mintage had declined to 53,600 pieces. The pleasing orange-gold surfaces of this impressive MS62 specimen are lustrous and appealing, with the expected number of minor contact marks for the grade. The design elements are well-detailed and eye appeal is outstanding. Population: 27 in 62, 8 finer (1/19).(Registry values: N2998)
