Description
1888 $10 MS62 PCGS. The 1887 to 1891 Philadelphia issues are scarcer than most collectors realize. Though the 1888 is more prevalent than its 1889 successor, it is rare at the MS62 level, and unknown in MS64 or finer grades. The present piece has original pumpkin-gold toning. The fields are only lightly abraded, though marks are noted on Liberty's chin and eye.
