1889 $10 AU53 NGC. A mere 4,440 circulation-strike eagles were produced in 1889, of which about 300 are estimated to survive in circulated grades. This well-detailed example boasts attractive reddish-gold color, including areas of deep toning at the upper-right and lower-left reverse. Minor marks scattered over each side.
