Description
Near-Mint 1890-CC Eagle
1890-CC $10 AU58 NGC. Just one die pair is known for the low 1890-CC mintage of 17,500 pieces. All examples show minor die doubling on IN GOD WE TRUST, although it is difficult to detect on the present later die state example. This is a minimally abraded butter-gold Carson City eagle with a bright band of luster at both borders. The eagle and portrait also shimmer with luster.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 266S, PCGS# 8718, GSID# 9511)
