Description

Eye-Appealing 1890-CC Eagle, MS61

1890-CC $10 MS61 NGC. This is a lovely and lustrous Mint State coin, despite the numerous small abrasions that appear under a loupe, seemingly precluding an even finer grade. The moderate 1890-CC eagle mintage was only 17,500 pieces. This piece is well-struck, with attractive orange-gold surfaces and good eye appeal. Census: 75 in 61, 47 finer (3/11).
