Description

1890-CC Ten Dollar, MS62
Frosty Original Surfaces

1890-CC $10 MS62 NGC. Variety 1-A. Only one die variety is known for this Carson City issue, showing light die doubling on IN GOD WE TRUST. The 1890-CC ten overall is scarce in Mint State, particularly finer than MS61. Above MS62 it is a genuine rarity. This piece displays a sharp strike and frosty rose-gold luster. Scattered abrasions account for the grade. Census: 35 in 62 (1 in 62 ), 6 finer (11/18).
