1891-CC Liberty Eagle, MS61
Winter 1-A, CAC Approved

1891-CC $10 MS61 PCGS. CAC. Winter 1-A. Five obverse dies and four reverse dies were combined to create five die marriages for the 1891-CC eagles. The mintmark position alone is sufficient to identify the reverse die. Only reverse die C was used with more than one obverse. The mintage for all five varieties was 103,732 coins. Myriad orange toning spots and numerous scattered marks appear on the lustrous honey-gold surfaces of this example.(Registry values: N1793)
