Elusive 1891-CC Eagle, MS62 Prooflike
1891-CC $10 MS62 Prooflike NGC. This conditionally rare example is one of just eight pieces graded by NGC as MS62 Prooflike, with no Prooflike coins graded any finer (3/09). Rival company PCGS does not assign the Prooflike designation to business strike gold coinage. This piece is well struck throughout, with deeply reflective fields and many small abrasions on each side.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 266U, PCGS# 78720)
