Description

1891-CC Eagle, MS63
CAC-Approved Yellow-Gold Example

1891-CC $10 MS63 PCGS. CAC. Winter 1-A. Yellow-gold surfaces are coated with significant original Mint luster. Only slight weakness exists on the highest points. Fine abrasions cover the surface, but none are individually distracting. This is the only Carson City issue with a mintage of over 100,000, making it the most common date from this storied Mint. However, it is still scarce in Select Mint State, and only about one-sixth of the certified population is CAC-approved.(Registry values: N2998)
