1891-CC/CC Liberty Eagle, MS63
Repunched Mintmark, FS-501

1891-CC/CC $10 FS-501 MS63 NGC. Variety 3-C. Both Cs in the mintmark are repunched east. Unbroken luster sweeps the moderately abraded apricot and sun-gold surfaces. A sharply struck representative of this popular issue. More '91-CC eagles have survived in Mint State than all other Carson City issues of the denomination combined, but nearly all of those are heavily bagmarked from indifferent storage and shipment.
