Popular Cherrypickers' Variety, FS-501
1891-CC/CC $10 FS-501 MS63 NGC. Variety 4-C. The remnants of
an undertype C are evident, protruding from the second C in the
primary mintmark on this popular Cherrypickers' variety.
This impressive Select specimen displays some minor contact marks
and chatter in the fields, but the vivid orange-gold surfaces
radiate vibrant mint luster, with outstanding eye appeal. The
design elements are sharply detailed and a die crack travels
through stars 1 through 5.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 266U, Variety PCGS# 145728, Base PCGS# 8720, Greysheet# 226298)
