1891-CC/CC $10 FS-501 MS63 PCGS. CAC. Variety 3-C. Ex: D.L. Hansen Collection. From a large mintage of 103,732 pieces, the 1891-CC Liberty eagle is a more-available issue, and a favorite choice of branch mint type collectors. This well-detailed Select specimen shows an arcing die crack through the stars on the left and the remnants of an underpunched C are easily seen protruding from the right side of the second C in the mintmark. The vivid orange-gold surfaces are lightly marked, with vibrant mint luster on both sides. Population (for Variety 3-C): 5 in 63, 0 finer (3/23).
