Description

1891-CC/CC Ten Dollar, MS63
FS-501, Repunched Mintmark

1891-CC/CC $10 FS-501 MS63 PCGS Secure. Variety 4-C. The CC mintmark is broadly repunched. A spike extends into the field from under Liberty's chin. Considering the overall rarity of the 1891-CC, this is likely one the finest examples of the FS-501 Cherrypickers' variety. Crisply struck relief elements and warm yellow-gold surfaces are minimally abraded. Occasional reddish accents and lively mint frost are added attributes.
