Description

1892-CC FS-801 Eagle, AU55
Scarce Later Carson City Issue

1892-CC $10 Tripled Die Reverse, FS-801, AU55 NGC. Variety 1-A. IN GOD WE TRUST is strongly die tripled, as always for the 1892-CC eagle. This issue is collectible in AU condition with some patience, although Mint State coins are rare and out of reach for many collectors. The penultimate Carson City ten dollar issue is scarcer than its 1891-CC predecessor. This straw-gold example is less abraded than often seen for Choice About Uncirculated grade. Orange accents and significant mint luster illuminate well-struck motifs, offering excellent eye appeal.
