Winter 1-A, Tripled Die Reverse
1892-CC $10 Tripled Die Reverse, FS-801, AU58 NGC. Winter
1-A. Die tripling is evident on the motto on the reverse of
this variety and on Variety 2-A from the same reverse die. Those
are the only two varieties known for the 1892-CC eagle. This
near-Mint example has splashes of orange toning on its lustrous
yellow-gold surfaces.Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2018), lot 6238.
