Description

1892-CC Liberty Ten, MS61
Nice Color and Luster, FS-801

1892-CC $10 Tripled Die Reverse, FS-801, MS61 NGC. Winter 1-A. The 1892-CC Liberty eagle claims a respectable mintage of 40,000 pieces, and circulated examples are not difficult to locate in today's market. However, Mint State specimens are rare. The present coin is a sharply detailed MS61 piece, with frosty mint luster and attractive green and orange-gold surfaces. The noted tripling shows strongly on the motto. Census: 19 in 61, 12 finer (1/25).
Ex: Central States Signature (Heritage, 4/2011), lot 6682.
