Conditionally Scarce Carson City Issue

1892-CC $10 Tripled Die Reverse, FS-801, MS62 PCGS. Variety 1-A. A pleasing olive-green and apricot-gold representative. Lustrous and boldly struck with scattered and inoffensive field contact. The penultimate Carson City issue with a mintage of just 40,000 pieces. The '92-CC was coined using two obverse dies and one reverse die. All examples exhibit die tripling on IN GOD WE TRUST. Population: 34 in 62 (2 in 62+), 2 finer (3/16).
