Rarely Seen Plus Designation
1892-O $10 MS62+ PCGS. Variety 1. The PCGS Plus designation
is an important award for this New Orleans ten dollar gold piece.
Many Mint State examples survive from the 28,688-piece mintage, but
few of those coins exist any finer than this MS62+ coin. Most stars
show clear radial lines and centers, and the eagle's feathers,
claws, and fletchings are well-struck. Yellow-gold color blends
with frosty luster. A few medium-gray toning accents help assure
the surfaces are wholly original. Population: 6 in 62+, 8 finer
