Description
1893 $10 MS62 Prooflike NGC. CAC. The 1.8 million-piece mintage of ten dollar gold pieces makes the 1893 issue one of the readily available eagles from the 1890s. Prooflike examples form only a tiny cadre among the overall Mint State population. This sharply struck example is minimally abraded for a Prooflike Liberty ten. Much of the mirrored finish survives. CAC endorsement is an important indication of the coin's quality. Census: 80 in 62 (1 in 62+ Prooflike, 1 in 62 ★ ), 30 finer (10/18).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 266Z, PCGS# 78725)
