Description

1893-CC Gold Eagle, AU58
Winter 1-A, The Usual Variety

1893-CC $10 AU58 NGC. Winter 1-A. Doug Winter identified two varieties for the 14,000 1893-CC eagles that were produced just before that Mint ceased operations. Winter 1-A offered here is the usual variety and Winter-2-B is rarely encountered. This attractive example has nearly full luster with lovely straw-gold surfaces and trivial marks of no consequence. Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2672, PCGS# 8726, Greysheet# 9516)
