    1893-CC Ten Dollar, MS61
    Carson City Condition Rarity

1893-CC $10 MS61 PCGS. Variety 1-A. Ex: Nevada Collection. As the final Carson City issue in the series, the 1893-CC ten is highly sought-after in all grades. The small 14,000-coin mintage ensures general scarcity for surviving examples, although the extreme potential of this date's rarity only emerges at the Mint State level. PCGS has certified just eight Uncirculated 1893-CC tens and none finer than MS62. This MS61 coin displays sharp detail and satiny orange-gold mint luster. Light surface chatter limits the grade in the absence of any singularly obvious abrasions. Some reflectivity appears in the fields when tilted beneath a light. A major condition rarity within the Carson City subset. Population: 3 in 61, 4 finer (7/16).
