Description

1893-S $10 MS62 PCGS. Complete cartwheel luster exudes from peach-gold surfaces that display sharply struck design elements. The portrait and reverse field are typically abraded. Jeff Garret and Ron Guth (2006) write: "Although the 1893-S eagle is considerably rarer than the 1893-S silver dollar, a smaller audience for the former means that it sells for a fraction of the price of the latter."(Registry values: N1793)
