Description

Better Date 1893-S Ten Dollar, MS63

1893-S $10 MS63 PCGS. The 1893-S is a scarce date, courtesy of a mintage of 141,350 pieces. A few hundred examples have returned from foreign bank holdings in recent decades, but the issue is nonetheless challenging above the MS62 level and rare any finer than the present coin. This is a lustrous orange-gold ten with vibrant luster and a sharp strike. The reverse is well preserved, while the left obverse displays faint abrasions.
