Description

1894-O Ten Dollar, MS63
Conditionally Rare

1894-O $10 MS63 PCGS. With Motto New Orleans eagles invariably have low mintages, though the 1894-O was struck to a slightly greater extent than its contemporaries (107,500 coins). Post-1883 issues were saved in some quantity, but were loosely stored and are typically encountered in AU55 to MS62 grades. The present well-struck Select example is a standout with dynamic luster and minimally marked peach-gold surfaces. Population: 14 in 63 (1 in 63+), 1 finer (6/17).
