1894-O Liberty Eagle, MS63
Only One Numerically Finer at PCGS
1894-O $10 MS63 PCGS. The 1894-O claims a substantial
mintage for the series, at 107,500 pieces. Fortunately, some
high-quality examples were saved by contemporary collectors and a
number of examples have surfaced in hoards, beginning around 1994.
The 1894-O is still scarce in MS63 condition, however, and finer
coins are virtually unobtainable. This impressive Select specimen
is well-detailed and lustrous, with lightly marked orange-gold
surfaces. Population: 15 in 63 (2 in 63+), 1 finer (1/18).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2676, PCGS# 8730, Greysheet# 9519)
