Description

1894-O Ten Dollar, MS63
Significant Condition Rarity

1894-O $10 MS63 PCGS. Variety 3. The 1894-O eagle is one of most easily obtainable New Orleans tens in circulated condition, but Mint State examples are disproportionately scarce, and are genuinely rare at the MS63 level. This is an immensely attractive piece with shimmering honey-gold luster that shows tinges of green-gold in the border recesses. The strike is bold, and only some minor chatter in the obverse fields preclude an even finer grade assessment from PCGS. Population: 13 in 63, 1 finer (10/14).(Registry values: N2998)
