Description

1895 $10 MS 64 PCGS. With a respectable mintage of more than 500,000 pieces, the 1895 is certainly not a rare issue from an absolute standpoint. This P-mint delivery does become elusive, however, in the preferred Mint State grades. With only a few, well scattered bagmarks, the surfaces more than uphold the near-Gem grade. Both sides display a rich, frosty sheen beneath warm orange-gold patination. Population: 20 in 64, only 1 finer.
