Description

1895 MS 66 NGC. While common in lower mint state grades (MS 63 and below), this date (as is the case with any Liberty ten-dollar), is an extremely difficult find in this lofty grade. Brilliant, satiny luster engulfs both sides, and the fields are essentially mark-free. A tiny toning spot is noted by the second star in the denticles for pedigree purposes only. This example is equaled by only one other coin, also an NGC coin. PCGS has certified only 6 MS 64s, with none finer. A superb specimen for the gold specialist.
