Description

1896 Ten Dollar, MS64
Condition Rarity in High Grades

1896 $10 MS64 PCGS. The 76,200-piece Liberty ten dollar mintage yields many Mint State survivors, but only up to and including the MS63 level. Just one notch higher and MS64 examples are rare. Anything finer is virtually uncollectible. This frosty and lustrous MS64 coin displays a razor-sharp strike and bright mint luster across well-preserved, near-Gem surfaces. Wheat-gold color glows beneath the richly frosted fields. PCGS Population: 29 in 64 (3 in 64+), 0 finer (5/25).(Registry values: N2998)
