1896 $10 MS 63 NGC. While moderately scarce in lesser grades, the 1896 is almost unobtainable any finer than MS 63, and few are known even at that level. This is a sharply defined example that has rich, golden tinged, satiny surfaces that display far fewer abrasions than are normally seen on a coin of this grade. Population: 77 in 63, 6 are finer.
