1896-S $10 MS61 NGC. The 1896-S is a relatively low mintage issue and most of the production appears to have entered West Coast commerce. For example, NGC has certified 62 pieces as XF45. The present Mint State example has rich orange toning and the expected number of minor obverse marks. Census: 36 in 61, 38 finer (9/12).(Registry values: N2998)
