1897 Liberty Eagle, MS65
Seldom Encountered in Higher Grades

1897 $10 MS65 NGC. Although the 1897 Liberty eagle claims a large mintage of 1 million pieces, the issue is surprisingly difficult to locate in high grade and specimens in MS65 condition are rare. This lustrous Gem exhibits sharply detailed design elements and well-preserved yellow and rose-gold surfaces. Census: 20 in 65, 7 finer (12/13).(Registry values: N4719)
