Sharply struck from lightly cracked dies, this gorgeous Gem eagle exhibits scant field grazes and pinpoint definition. The 1897 ten dollar claims a mintage of 1 million coins, but few have reached this impressive grade level. Population: 16 in 65 (1 in 65+), 4 finer (5/20).(Registry values: N4719)
