Description

Scarce This Grade, Rare Any Finer
1897-S $10 MS63 PCGS. Most Mint State 1897-S eagles come
from European hoards, but in lesser grades than this Select

account for the MS63 designation. Vibrant cartwheel luster radiates
from both sides, and the strike is razor-sharp. Lilac and rose
highlights add to the impressive eye appeal. Population: 16 in 63,
8 finer (3/20).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 267F, PCGS# 8739, Greysheet# 9525)
