PCGS 1897-S MS 61. Very scarce in strict mint state, only a couple of handfuls of coins exist above the AU level. This piece has satiny luster that has taken on a rich orange-gold patina that is quite appealing. Population: 4 in 61, only 7 are finer. Trends $2,000 in MS 60.
