Description
1897-S MS 63 PCGS. Very scarce in strict mint state, only a couple of handfuls of coins exist above the AU level. This is one of the finer pieces known of this challenging issue. Sharply struck, the bright satin-like surfaces show only a few small, scattered abrasions and several small copper stains. Population: 5 in 63, only 2 finer (9/95).
