Description
Elusive Select 1898-S Liberty Ten
1898-S $10 MS63 PCGS. The 1898-S has a reasonable mintage of 473,600 pieces, but most must have entered West Coast commerce, since Uncirculated survivors are scarce, and most of those are bagmarked. The present canary-gold example has unencumbered cartwheel luster, and the sharply struck surfaces offer surprisingly few marks.
