1899 $10 MS66 PCGS. A large mintage of 1,262,305 ten dollar coins in 1899 at the Philadelphia Mint gives collectors many coins to choose from, even in Mint State condition. This splendid example is among the finest available for the issue, with only 2 coins graded numerically finer. Rich yellow gold with orange highlights is aesthetically pleasing. Contact marks seen under magnification are tiny and few in number. The strike is full, displaying sharp definition of design details for the portrait and eagle.
