Challenging 1899-S Liberty Ten, MS63
1899-S $10 MS63 NGC. The 1899-S is much scarcer in Mint State than the 1899 Philadelphia issue. Presumably, most pieces went into circulation instead of foreign bank holdings, the source of most Uncirculated ten dollar pieces. This is a lustrous and exactingly struck Select ten with a well preserved reverse and a few minor marks on the left obverse.
