Amazing MS66 1900 Eagle
1900 $10 MS66 NGC. A simply stunning survivor from this turn-of-the-century ten dollar issue, one of five MS66 coins in the combined certified population with none finer (10/09). The strike is almost uniformly sharp, with only trifling softness visible on a handful of the obverse stars. While both sides show a handful of small marks and luster grazes, aside from two such minor flaws in the right obverse field, these are unobtrusive. Strong, slightly satiny apricot-gold luster completes the remarkable eye appeal.
