Description
1900-S Select Eagle
Conditionally Rare
1900-S $10 MS63 PCGS. The 1900-S ten dollar, from a mintage
of 81,000 pieces, is a scarce and underrated date. A fair number of
circulated coins are known, but Mint State examples are scarce and
very difficult to locate above MS62. Attractive luster resides on
the copper-gold surfaces of this Select piece and a solid strike
characterizes the devices. A few light marks are consistent with
the grade. Population: 18 in 63, 3 finer (8/13).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 267N, PCGS# 8746, Greysheet# 9529)
