Not Sold Description
1900-S $10 MS 63 NGC. Despite an original mintage of only 81,000 pieces, the 1900-S is available for a price in circulated and low Mint State grades. Above the MS 62 level, however, the picture changes markedly. NGC and PCGS combined report only 7 coins in MS 63 with a scant 4 finer. This is the nicest example that we have offered in recent memory. The lustrous surfaces reveal relatively few distractions for the grade. Both sides are equally well impressed, but the reverse displays shades of golden-rose color that are somewhat deeper than those on the obverse. A fleeting opportunity for the gold date collector who demands the utmost in technical quality.
