Description
1901 Liberty Eagle, MS64
Well-Preserved, Lustrous Surfaces
1901 $10 MS64 PCGS. This is a common date that is easily
located in grades as high as MS66. This attractive type coin is
sharply struck, but its formidable eye appeal derives from its
unblemished fields and devices. Sweeping luster illuminates the
light copper-gold and lime patina. Like its San Francisco
counterpart from 1901, the 1901 Philadelphia eagle will always be
common in Mint State, but superior quality pieces remain scarce
relative to demand.Ex: Denver Signature (Heritage, 8/2006), lot 2044.
