Description

Gem 1901 Eagle

1901 $10 MS 65 NGC. The rich endowment of mint frost cartwheels serenely around the pristine surfaces. Powerfully impressed and possessed of razor sharp delineation, both the obverse and the reverse exhibit pale champagne highlights over otherwise orange-gold coloration. Despite a respectable mintage of more than 1.7 million pieces, this P-mint issue is quite elusive at the MS 65 grade tier and is always in demand among gem quality type collectors.
